F1 | Perez happy with his first day at the wheel of the RB16B

Positive feedback for Sergio Perez behind the wheel of RB16B, the car with which Red Bull will face the next 2021 world championship formula 1. Interviewed by the official website of the Austrian team, the Mexican promoted the behavior of the technical package with flying colours, highlighting how yesterday's first laps were absolutely "satisfactory and in line with initial expectations".

Despite a small technical problem (the bonnet cover exploded halfway through the day), the ex Racing Point he managed to put in good mileage, an aspect that will allow him to face tomorrow's half day with the possibility of testing new solutions in view of the GP scheduled for March 28th.

“It was nice to do a full day of testing with the RB16B“, said the Mexican from Red Bull. “Even though the conditions were difficult on the track, we did a good job, starting a development that promises to be long. It's fantastic to work with the team and I'm getting more and more used to every aspect of the car. I can already feel the potential of the technical package. I can't wait to get back in the car tomorrow morning."
