Good weekend from Max Verstappen, who managed to take the third step of the podium in Texas. “It was a positive weekend and I'm very happy to finish in third place on a track like this – admitted Verstappen. After the race I realized that I was missing a fairly important piece of the car floor, and it's a shame because it means we could have been more competitive. I got a good start and then tried to follow Valtteri, but he seemed to have more pace, so finishing five seconds behind isn't so bad, especially considering the damage to our car. I think the two stops were correct, we couldn't have done it differently as it was the fastest strategy for us. I also believe that we have managed to make a good step forward, we are back in the fight. It won't be easy, but we won't give up! It's impressive that Lewis won his sixth world championship, you have to be very consistent to do that, so he deserves it."
