F1 | Red Bull, Verstappen disappointed: "The whole qualifying sucked for me"

It is readable in the face of Max Verstappen the disappointment of not having achieved his first pole position in Formula 1 in Mexico. After dominating free practice and part of qualifying, the young Dutchman was overtaken at the last attempt by teammate Daniel Ricciardo, confirming however the remarkable competitiveness of Red Bull at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez: “The whole qualifying sucked a bit for me” – declared the Dutchman immediately. “I made some errors in braking, a rear lockup. I tried to do my best, but we weren't able to keep the promises we made, but second place isn't bad.".

Furthermore, from a race perspective, Verstappen did not say he was certain he would be able to resolve the small problems encountered in this qualifying session: “I'm not sure, though we will try" – he commented.
