F1 | Red Bull, Verstappen admits: “I feel calm”

Second place at Losail was the best possible result for Verstappen, given the grid penalty for ignoring yellow flags in qualifying. The world championship leader has seen his lead shrink in recent weeks given Hamilton's victories in Brazil and Qatar, and there is no margin for error between now and the end of the season, we have reached the final rush.

“I was surprised by the overtaking possibilities in Qatar – Max admitted. The start was good, I had to do so given the grid penalty. We lacked a bit of pace compared to Mercedes, so we'll see what we can do this weekend. The Losail track is one of my favourites, it was fun to drive there. As for Jeddah, I tested it in the simulator and it seems very fast, so there is no margin for error. It will be interesting and I'm looking forward to this challenge. I feel calm, I know that I will always try to do my best, nothing is decided yet and we are ready! There are still two races to go and we will give it our all, that's for sure, it will be an exciting end to the season."
