F1 | Red Bull, Ricciardo analyzes the season finale: "We could have won the last three races"

Speaking to the press yesterday, Daniel Ricciardo analyzed the performances shown by Red Bull during the last three races, underlining how the RB14 performed well on tracks that, at least on paper, should have smiled on Mercedes and Ferrari. In fact, in the three American trips (United States, Mexico and Brazil. ed.), Red Bull managed to consistently play for the victory, even winning it in Mexico, and this is an aspect that certainly gives us hope for 2019.

Here are the words of Daniel Ricciardo: “This sport sometimes confuses you. In Brazil I was amazed by the pace we had. I encountered a lot of traffic in the first part of the race, which should have damaged my tyres, but the pace was faster than Mercedes and Ferrari. It was difficult to overtake, but the pace was on our side."

“I don't know if we did a good job or if they did something wrong, but in the last few races we have been very fast”, he added. “Max almost managed to win in the United States, while in Mexico it would have been a double without my problem. Ditto in Brazil if we had started from the front."

“We could have won all three races and this is certainly positive. We are still updating the car and it is obviously progressing. Over the course of the year we managed to get closer and these results are the fruit of our work"he concluded.
