F1 | Red Bull, Perez: “This year I feel more comfortable with the single-seater”

Sergio Perez has started 2022 in the best possible way, achieving excellent results driving for Red Bull. Second to him with the Milton Keynes team, with which he recently extended his contract until 2024, Checo admitted that the feeling with the RB18 is significantly better than that with the RB16B. An advantageous situation which allows the Mexican to get the most out of the vehicle right from the start of the weekend.

"I'm definitely more comfortable with the car than last year – declared Perez, quoted by RaceFans – For example, it took me a little longer to adjust to last year's car. This year I feel that already from FP1 I can start working on the car instead of working on how to make the most of it. So that's a huge difference on the weekend. When I get to qualifying I'm much more prepared and equally when I go into the race I think we have a good base. I'm confident with the car and I know what I need to do with the team to get the best out of it".
