F1 | Red Bull, Perez still thinks about Baku: "I was left with a bit of disappointment"

Sergio Perez has not yet completely swallowed the result in Baku. More than anything, the Mexican probably thinks back to that "No fighting" told to him on the radio when Verstappen arrived, significantly faster than him at that point in the race. Leaving this aside, the former Force India took second place in the drivers' championship, and a track arrives in Montreal that should favor, at least on paper, the performance of the RB18.

“The Canadian Grand Prix comes at a great time in the season for the team – Perez said. Scoring maximum points in Baku was incredible and this means we are in full contention for both titles. It was a partly disappointing day for me, but when you don't feel happy and still finish second, even setting the fastest lap, you can't say it went badly. This car is very strong on city tracks, so we believe we can put in another good performance in Montreal. I will spend time with my engineers to analyze the Baku race so we can get the most out of it here. It's great to be back in Canada, it's a circuit that I like and I think it will be a fun race."
