Marko also spoke about Verstappen's confirmation, underlining how the goal is to reach the world title by next season
In a chat given to the Osterreich newspaper, Helmut Marko spoke about the future objectives of the Red Bull team, underlining how the basic idea, obviously shared with Honda, is to achieve five seasonal successes. The Austrian team, in fact, intends to surpass the victories achieved in the past season, so as to guarantee the Dutchman a winning and ambitious project for what concerns the next 2020 world championship.
“Our job is to give Verstappen a winning car,” said Helmut Marko. “I said before starting the season that Red Bull would win five races and today we can still achieve this.”
On the possibility that Verstappen could become the youngest world champion in history he added: “We still have one year to chase this goal.”
