F1 | Red Bull, Marko: “We have never been so dominant, Ecclestone and Mosley would have prevented it”

There are many questions to be resolved at Red Bull, certainly a bit disappointing given the performances of this start to the world championship, also because Mercedes seems uncatchable. Helmut Marko, trusted advisor of the Austrian team, wonders why the FIA ​​and Liberty Media do not intervene in such a way as to be able to give the other teams the possibility of catching up against the Anglo/German team, having never done so in the last decades of Formula 1 such clear dominance, even using the years in which Red Bull won the world championships as an example. Then, after talking about DAS a few days ago, Marko retracted his words a bit, given that the problems on the RB16 are different at the moment.

“First of all, we need to solve our problems regarding the chassis – Marko said. Now we know what doesn't work: we will continue to improve and fix errors as quickly as possible. This is why we will not fit the new parts all at once onto the car, but one by one, so as to see where the problems are located on the car. However, I ask myself: why does Mercedes show its superiority so openly? In our winning years, we have never tried to be in front so blatantly, because Max Mosley and Bernie Ecclestone would have prevented it immediately."
