F1 | Red Bull, the previous ones with unusual liveries

This morning Red Bull took the wraps off the RB14, the single-seater with which Milton Keynes will compete in the new season which will begin (unofficially) next week with the first tests at Montmelò, awaiting the first race of 2018 scheduled for 25 March at Albert Park, Melbourne.

Net of the technical solutions launched by Adrian Newey, among the innovations shown by the new Red Bull, brought to the track at Silverstone today by Daniel Ricciardo for a filming day, it features an unusual and captivating livery: midnight blue, with gray overlays suitable for highlight the sponsors (Aston Martin above all, ed.). A version which, however, despite being appreciated on the web, has its days numbered.

In fact, as stated in the press release, in the Catalan tests, Red Bull will be on track with its classic colours. However, it is not the first time that "drink owners" disguise the livery of their car. A few years ago, three to be precise, the Anglo-Austrian team showed up at the Jerez tests with an unusual zebra (black and white) livery.

Still on the Andalusian track, at the end of 2004, after taking over Jaguar, Red Bull took to the track for the first time with David Coulthard showing a livery equal to the color of the cans of the drink of the same name. In Australia, a few months later, at the start of the 2005 season, Milton Keynes adopted a color similar to the one that has now become traditional (blue) which, however, has undergone some small restyling over the years.
