Furthermore, the Red Bull team principal explained how only "a matter of time" separates Max Verstappen from his first world title: “Sebastian Vettel won four titles for us before he was 30. Lewis has won four and is only 32 years old. For me, Max is a champion: You can see which drivers are exceptional and Max is certainly one of them."

In 2018, Red Bull will also have to take into account a new, fierce rival: the McLaren, which just like the Milton Keynes team, will be equipped with a Renault engine. “McLaren is a great team and we can't wait to race against them" – said Horner. “We made great progress especially in the second half of last season and Let's hope we have the same momentum in 2018.
