F1 | Red Bull, Horner confirms: “There are some changes in the pipeline”

Interviewed about the difficulties experienced by Honda in Canada, Christian Horner underlined how the technical staff in Milton Keynes is doing their utmost to close the gap that Red Bull currently has against Mercedes and Ferrari.

According to what was declared by the Team Principal, in fact, the Austrian team is working on an update package to bring to the track in the coming weeks, with which there should be a nice leap forward in terms of performance.

Verstappen, we remember, achieved three podiums in this first part of the season, but never gave the impression of being able to compete on equal terms with Ferrari and Mercedes. The update package will therefore take on a vitally important role for the continuation of this season, especially as regards the duel with Ferrari for second place in the constructors' championship.

“There are some changes in the works that should help us in the near future,” declared Christian Horner at the end of the last Canadian Grand Prix. “We are working on something that will help us close the gap to the cars in front of us.”
