F1 | Red Bull, Horner: “We still have a chance to recover”

Red Bull still has a chance to rejoin the championship lead and the level of competitiveness of Mercedes and Ferrari. This is the belief of Christian horner, confident for a good continuation of the season for the whole team.

“The new regulations are still at the beginning and in the future we will certainly be stronger – the boss told SpeedWeek – obviously Ferrari and Mercedes have been the best up to now but we have tried to limit the damage as much as possible. We still have a chance to recover."

Horner had the opportunity to talk about the situation of Daniel Ricciardo, for many deeply frustrated by the team's difficult situation: “I can't see a difference between the Ricciardo of today and that of past years. Obviously he wants to be competitive, but the 2015 season was much more frustrating for him. I am convinced that we have the two best drivers in the sport."

A difficult situation, but a clearly improving Formula 1 which has brought a lot of confidence to the home team too Red Bull: “This is all great for the sport. Formula 1 has a new winner in Valtteri Bottas, we had four races where no one could have predicted with certainty who would win, with three different winners out of four races. Let's hope it continues like this."
