F1 | Red Bull, Gasly: ​​“I want to get a better result starting from Silverstone”

Pierre Gasly's moment is certainly not idyllic: the French driver had an absolutely negative start to the season, and Verstappen's victory in Austria did nothing but confirm the many problems the 2 GP2016 champion had in his first adventure with a top team. Red Bull is certainly in a profitable period given the Zeltweg race, but what is missing is the support of the second driver, who is in great difficulty today.

“I'm happy to race on a track like Silverstone – Gasly said. It's one of my favorite circuits because it's made up of lots of high-speed corners, and when you're in a Formula 1 car you really feel the downforce and the grip. It's a very flowing track, and its history in the sport makes it very significant for me too. Here I won in GP2 immediately after a car accident with my family on the way to the track, so it was a special weekend and one that I will always remember. There's usually a great atmosphere here, with all the British fans coming to support us. I remember that last year I was impressed by the amount of people present over the weekend. After the Zeltweg race we worked and focused on every detail to put all the pieces together and obtain a better result starting from this Sunday."
