F1 | Red Bull, Gasly: ​​“I'm gaining more and more confidence”

Pierre Gasly took sixth place in the Chinese Grand Prix, achieving his best result of the season. The Frenchman concluded he was an eternity behind the other tops, also thanks to an extra stop to try for the fastest lap of the race, succeeding and taking it away from Sebastian Vettel.

“Happy with my first fastest lap in Formula 1 – Gasly said. We had a large margin over our rivals behind, so we decided to make an extra pit stop in the last three laps and the strategy worked. During the race I tried to maintain the pace, also managing the tires and improving the feeling with the car. I am gaining more and more confidence and I think we will take a step forward week after week. There is still work to do for the next race, but I know what I need to do better. We are happy with the points scored today, now we return to the factory to then work on the simulator in view of the next race in Baku."
