Alex Albon is ready to face the next Australian Grand Prix, the opening round of the 2020 Formula 1 world championship. At the end of the six days of pre-season testing in Barcelona, ​​the Thai driver from Red Bull promoted the behavior of the RB16 on the track, proving fast and reliable in all racing conditions.

“It was six days of really solid and smooth testing,” said Alex Albon. “We pushed hard with the mileage, testing and experimenting with many new components of the car. Everything seems to have gone well. As a team we have to analyze a lot of data and try to understand the car better. It was a positive test."

“Mercedes is clearly very fast and there is a lot more to see from Ferrari, so it's difficult to say for sure now where we are,” the Thai continued. “The car has satisfied us from day one, but we won't know where we will be until we get to Melbourne. I can't believe it's time to fly to Australia already."
