F1 | Raikkonen disappointed with 4th place: “Tired weekend”
More than half a second away from poleman Vettel: "We hope to have luck tomorrow and take as many positions as possible, but I continue to say that it wasn't an easy weekend"
Kimi Raikkonen has closed the qualifications of Singapore Grand Prix al fourth place, more than half a second away from his teammate Sebastian Vettel who took pole position with an extraordinary lap. In the post-qualifying session, the Finn showed his disappointment, disappointed by the final result and tomorrow's starting grid which will see him far from first position on a circuit where it is more difficult to overtake, especially if you stay in traffic.
Raikkonen he recounted his frustration: “I didn't find much positive in the car compared to yesterday. It was during free practice that I had difficulties and in fact even today the situation is far from ideal. In the end I take fourth place, I take it with all the efforts of this qualification. It was a hard day, also put the car in the conditions we wanted. Obviously it could have been worse, in the end we achieved a good result. So let's hope to have luck tomorrow and take as many positions as possible, but I still say it wasn't an easy weekend", commented the Finn to Sky's microphones.
