F1 | Racing Point, Perez ahead of Stroll without updates: "We did everything we could"

It was a good performance from Sergio Perez, who qualified in sixth position at Mugello. Unfortunately for him, given yesterday's accident with Raikkonen in which he was considered at fault, the Mexican will have to serve a position on the starting grid in favor of Stroll, who will therefore effectively take his place on the third row. Checo can still be satisfied, having beaten his teammate with a car without updates, mounted only on the Canadian's RP20.

“We did everything we could, overall it's a positive day for the team – Perez said. The Q3 lap was good, important because we only had one set of new tires, having used two in Q1.
