F1 | Pirelli, Isola: “The fastest strategy is a stop”

Valtteri Bottas took pole position for the United States Grand Prix and also set a new track record. The Finn's best time was done on the soft compound but his best lap in Q2 was done on the medium which will be the compound with which he will start the race.

“The qualifying conditions are unlikely to be representative of the race as the Grand Prix will take place three hours earlier.
