F1 | Pirelli, Hamilton completes the day of testing

Important test Thursday for Lewis Hamilton , Mercedes. The English driver had the opportunity to try the Pirelli tires from 2018 on the French track of Paul ricard, which will become part of the Formula 1 World Championship calendar from next year. The three-time world champion, with his W08, has completed 114 laps on a day, meteorologically speaking, very hot and therefore stressful for the new compounds. On Friday, Mercedes will complete its program, also allowing Valtteri Bottas, second driver of the team, to test next year's Pirellis.

Lewis Hamilton was invited to take part in the Pirelli tests last season, but he I decline, despite his rival for the title Sebastian Vettel, who instead tried the 2017 compounds, thus taking a slight advantage in the first races of this year, in which he was recognized for his skilful tire management.

At the end of Mexican Grand Prix, they will be Force India e Clean to taste next season's tyres, while the closing ceremony will be the McLaren which, after the race Interlagos in Brazil, it will take part in the last test session scheduled by Pirelli.
