F1 | Perez raises the alarm: "If Pirelli doesn't intervene, we will always see boring races"

You expect it in Monaco, but in Montreal the winner normally doesn't emerge until the end.".

In the post-race, winner Sebastian Vettel had downplayed the problem, stating how even in football some matches are more exciting than others. Brawn echoed the Ferrari driver's words, underlining in any case how Liberty Media is working to improve this aspect: “I agree with Vettel, like him I am also a football fan. Not all races can be exciting, even if that is our intent. In any case, people will watch the championship.".

In the meantime, Sergio Perez he was rather shocked by the limited overtaking possibilities offered by the 2018 cars. According to the Force India driver, immediate interventions are urgently needed, especially by Pirelli: “I don't understand why it was impossible to overcome” – admitted to Speed ​​Week. "The cars are heavier this year due to the Halo and this doesn't help, but the difference in speed needed for overtaking is enormous. I think as long as Pirelli doesn't do anything 'dramatic', probably we will always see boring races".
