F1 | Perez in China to shore up the good feelings from this start of the season

F1 GP China Perez – Sergio Perez is looking for confirmation in the next Chinese Grand Prix, the fifth round of the 2024 Formula 1 world championship. The Mexican from Red Bull, author of three second places in four races, wants to confirm himself in the top group in Shanghai too and to do so he will have to optimize the potential of the RB20 as best as possible, a car which so far has proven to be dominated on par with last year's RB19. The drivers, let us remember, have not competed in Shanghai for five years and the little time available to run "freely", due to the Sprint format, will force everyone to do preparation work without the slightest error.

Perez ready for weekend in China

“I've never driven a Red Bull on this circuit, so it will be challenging. Shanghai is a challenging track, but I think with the RB20 we have shown that we have a car capable of competing on most circuits. Japan showed me how confident I feel with this car and the performance I can get from it, in circumstances where I struggled last season. This week I returned to Milton Keynes and have been working hard with my team to prepare for the next few weeks of racing. Preparation is very important when tackling a Sprint weekend, because the time available for testing in the car is very limited. The new format will be difficult for everyone to manage, but we are all in the same position."
