F1 | Ogier changes category for a day: an F1 car tested in Austria

In a test session held at the Red Bull Ring, Sebastien Ogier tested an F1 car for the first time. The four-time WRC champion completed approximately 60 miles aboard the RB11, the car with which Sebastian Vettel won the world championship in 2011, realizing a dream that Citroen and Volkswagen had previously prevented him from realizing. The Frenchman is tackling the 2017 world championship with the M-Sport team, a private Ford structure managed by Malcom Wilson, and considering the strong partnership between the team and Red Bull, Ogier managed to snatch a short session aboard a Formula One .

"It was great" commented the French driver. “Driving a Formula One has always been my dream. This car gives you incredible driving sensations and personally I have never experienced something similar. Every driver dreams of driving a car like this and I want to thank Red Bull for this opportunity. We started gradually, inserting the TC, but as I went around we removed something, until we reached the complete removal of the aids. It's incredible how the car changes its behavior."
