Due to the adverse weather conditions on the Nurburgring, scene of the next Eifel Grand Prix, Mick Schumacher was unable to make his debut aboard the Alfa Romeo C39, the car with which he was supposed to carry out the first free practice session in Germany.

The German, the expected protagonist of the morning, was unable to complete even one lap due to the fog and a strong storm that hit the Eifel area, an aspect which in fact did not allow the Circus to carry out the session smoothly.

The German's appointment on the track is therefore postponed to a later date, even if rumors from the paddock report that Ferrari is working with Alfa Romeo for the Portuguese Grand Prix, a round that will take place in fifteen days on the Portimao circuit, or for the first of two races that will take place in Bahrain at the end of November.

Obviously the same goes for Callum Ilott too, given that the Brit was due to make his debut this morning at the wheel of Romain Grosjean's Haas. See you at 15.00pm on Sky Sport F1 HD for live coverage of the second free practice session from the Nurburgring.
