F1 | Nurburgring available to join the 2021 calendar

After the excellent experience last season with the Eiffel Grand Prix, the Nurburgring said it was willing to become part of the 2021 Formula 1 calendar. In a "chat" given to the microphones of F1-Insier.com, a spokesperson for the track spoke about the possibility of replacing one of the Grands Prix currently scheduled for 2021, highlighting how the possibility depends exclusively on the will of Liberty Media.

“We are available to start discussions with Formula 1 regarding the 2021 season,” said a spokesperson for the German circuit. “Obviously any other assessments will be made if and when Liberty Medium will decide to enter into a negotiation."

“The conversations last autumn were very enjoyable and as a circuit we demonstrated our capabilities,” he added. “We managed to organize a Formula 1 Grand Prix with little notice and this is certainly a point in our favor. So far we have no news about 2021, but let's see what happens. We can't say more at the moment."
