F1 | Norris on Sainz: “Happy with his arrival at Ferrari”

In a chat given to the columns of Autosport, Lando Norris talked about the arrival of Carlos Sainz at Ferrari, underlining how the Spaniard worked hard to achieve such an important goal for his career.

Thanks to the excellent performances of the past seasons, Sainz managed to show off, guaranteeing himself a top-level seat for the 2022 Formula 1 world championship. HagHowever, Norris said he was very surprised by the choice to say goodbye to the Red team, given that everyone was expecting a renewal at least for the next championship.

“I think it was a shock and I think no one expected Vettel not to renew with Ferrari,” Lando Norris said. “With the announcement it was clear that something would move on the market. Sainz went to take that place and I'm happy for him."
