F1 | Nico Rosberg doesn't feel nostalgic for the Circus: "I don't miss it at all"

Over two years have now passed (December 2016, ed.) since Nico Rosberg with a video published on his social profiles he announced his retirement from the world of racing, at the end of an extraordinary season which had crowned him world champion. But at the same time exhausting from a mental point of view, with the German he had given his all to get the better of his teammate Lewis Hamilton in the world championship fight.

On the subject, interviewed by German television ZDF, Rosberg declared that he did not regret the choice he made: "I don't miss it at all, and that's a great thing. When I decided to leave the sport, I had no idea what I would be like after two or three months or after a year. Running has always been something fundamental in my life that suddenly disappeared. Fortunately I can count on my family and other passions. I found new things to do - it was the best decision".

Speaking about the dangers of racing, the 2016 world champion added: “I must confess that there are moments when I see something on the track and think: 'Luckily I'm not in that car'. Let's take Baku. We're going 360 km/h in the city and there's a wall in front of you. Unlike other drivers, I'm not a real daredevil. Yes, there are times when I was afraid".

On Formula E he said: “This championship is going very well. In just four years it has reached an incredible value of 700 million, even if there is no profit".
