F1 | Nico Hulkenberg and bad luck with… triple overtaking!

Among the highlights of the Bahrain GP there is not only Vettel's heroic victory, nor Raikkonen's unfortunate pit stop. In fact, it is on the fourth lap that we understand that the Sakhir race would have been full of emotions, when Lewis Hamilton, starting from ninth position (thanks to the five-place penalty for replacing the gearbox), pulls a triple overtaking against Alonso, Ocon and Hulkenberg.

A shot worthy of a four-time World Champion that made every Formula 1 fan jump to their feet. But who knows what he must have thought Nico Hulkenberg, busy keeping Force India and McLaren behind and suddenly found himself behind the Briton's Mercedes. Surely the race in Baku last year came to mind, when Daniel Ricciardo invented a triple overtaking against the Renault German and the Williams of Stroll and Massa.

A masterpiece that earned the Australian from Red Bull the award for best overtaking of 2017. An honor that could fall to Hamilton in 2018. In the meantime, Hulkenberg will hope to never find himself in similar situations again…
