F1 | No Red Bull dominance in 2024, says Chris Horner

F1 | No Red Bull dominance in 2024, says Chris Horner

In 2024 we will not see a sauce domain Red Bull as happened in the last championship. He is convinced of it Chris horner, with the team principal of the Anglo-Austrian team admitting that the supremacy shown on the track in 2023 will not be repeated as the direct rivals from Milton Keynes will be able to come close to the performance of the reigning world champion car.

2023 was a magical year for Red Bull which saw the RB19 dominate the Circus scene far and wide, as demonstrated by the twenty-one victories (of which nineteen were signed by Max Verstappen) in twenty-two events. The only failure was represented by Singapore, where Ferrari with Carlos Sainz took the top step of the podium.

“I don't think we will repeat the dominance shown by the RB19 – Horner told Formula1.com – With stable regulations I expect we will lose some gap, because I think we got to the top of the curve quicker than others. The field will converge. It's hard for us to know who it will be. Will it be McLaren? Will it be Ferrari? Will it be Mercedes? There will be movement behind us."

Horner then added: “There's always a reset when you move on to the next year. I am convinced that we will see many more cars that resemble the RB19 philosophy. The RB20 will be an evolution, not a revolution. I think all the areas have been revisited in the car and we can't afford to get complacent."
