Speaking on Sky Sport 24, Mara Sangiorgio analyzed the world championship challenge between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen in view of the next United States Grand Prix, the 17th round of the 2021 Formula 1 world championship, underlining how this year's championship is absolutely open and unpredictable.

Despite a Mercedes back in "fashion" and a Red Bull appearing on the defensive in the tests in Russia and Turkey, the championship is preparing to face a "tour de force" made up of six rounds, which could reserve many surprises and twists.

We will start this weekend from the Circuit of the Americas, a track that has been missing from the calendar since 2019 and which on paper should be a success for Mercedes, balance permitting. Red Bull and Max Verstappen will be called to another "defensive" trip before flying to Mexico and Brazil, appointments which, thanks to the altitude, should benefit the characteristics of the RB16B.

See you on Friday afternoon, Italian time, for the first free practice in Texas. Riders will have two one-hour sessions to adapt to the circuit and to collect as many data plates as possible on the asphalt, which has been treated following the pothole issues faced by MotoGP.
