The last and only time in which Mick Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel raced together dates back to the Race of Champions, held last January in the Foro Sol of the Mexico City track. On that occasion Schumi jr and the four-time world champion, representing Team Germany, reached the final, which they later lost against the Nordic team.
On that occasion the two had the opportunity to discuss in depth, as the German declared in Sakhir where on Tuesday and Wednesday he was the protagonist in the two days of in-season testing, taking to the track with both Ferrari and Alfa Romeo Racing.
"It was very useful to talk to him. We talked to each other and all his advice was always invaluable. I will try to make use of it and continue to interact with him every chance I get,” Mick pointed out.
