F1 | Michael Schumacher, the words of his wife Corinna: "he is a fighter, he will not give up"

Corinna Schumacher returns to speak publicly about her husband Michael. The occasion for doing so is a letter in which the wife of the seven-time Formula 1 world champion thanked the German musician Sascha Herchenbach, who in December 2014 composed a song in honor of Michael Schumacher, entitled 'Born to Fight', of which he sent a copy of the CD directly to Corinna.

As revealed by Herchenbach himself to the German magazine Bunte, Corinna's letter was handwritten and its existence has only now been ascertained. "Michael is a fighter and will not give up. Thank you for your gift and your closeness during this difficult time. It's nice to receive so many good wishes and so many other kind words, which represent great support for our family" – the words written by the woman.

After the serious accident of 29 December 2013, in which the former Ferrari fell on his skis on the snows of Méribel, violently hitting his head against a rock, "Schumi" is apparently continuing his complicated rehabilitation in Switzerland, in his home near Geneva, assisted by a staff of fifteen people.
