"It's about money. They only look at themselves and not at the growth of the category," said the son of the 1978 world champion
If the FIA, through the mouth of president Mohammed Bin Sulayem, said it was available and welcoming to the idea of having an eleventh team on the starting grid in Formula 1, the same thing cannot be said for the teams already present which are hindering the project captain from Andretti.
Michael, son of Mario, 1978 world champion, commenting on the ostracism of the teams, did not mince his words towards the other teams, labeling them as "greedy".
“It's all about money – declared Andretti, interviewed by Forbes – They think that their prize money will be reduced by a tenth, but they also become very greedy thinking that we will also take all the American sponsors. It's about greed and looking at yourself and not what's best for the overall growth of the category.”
