Niki Lauda will not be present at Yas Marina, home of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, the last seasonal event of the 2018 Formula One World Championship.
In fact, the Austrian, non-executive president of Mercedes, will continue the rehabilitation process after the lung transplant operation he underwent this summer.
Lauda's absence in the Emirates was revealed Toto wolff, in an interview given to the newspaper Austria"Niki is fine, everything is going as planned. The return will be decided by him in mutual agreement with the doctors".
Lauda, according to the rumors launched by Austria, could return home for the Christmas period.
