F1 | Mercedes, Wolff and Lauda renew until 2020

With a note published on its official website, Mercedes has formalized the renewal of the contracts of Toto Wolff and Niki Lauda until 2020. Wolff and Lauda will continue to occupy the roles of team principal and non-executive president respectively.

"Victory is the result of the work of a group of people who make their qualities available to pursue a common goal. I am honored to continue to be part of this winning group of people”, this is Toto Wolff's comment.

"The last few years have been the best I have experienced in Formula One. Toto and I have created a perfect partnership at Mercedes, building a strong team in every way. I thank Dieter (Zetsche, ed.) and the other members of the Daimler AG board for renewing their trust in me”, the words of Lauda.

Certificates of esteem for Wolff and Lauda came from Dieter Zetsche, president and CEO of Daimler AG: “The renewals of Toto and Niki are great news. In 2013 we renewed the team management to improve our results. Since then the results have exceeded our expectations. Their renewal allows us to continue pursuing important objectives for the next four years".
