F1 | Mercedes, Toto Wolff: “McLaren will be very close to the top teams in 2020”

McLaren has undoubtedly been the surprise of this season. The Woking team took fourth position in the constructors' championship and managed to bring Sainz to sixth place in the drivers' championship. An extraordinary performance topped off by the Spanish driver's podium at Interlagos. An exponential growth for a team that only until two years ago was struggling to get through Q1. The gap with Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull is very large, but our objective remains to remedy this gap.
