F1 | Mercedes will bring updates on the W12 in the next races

Mercedes will not stop the updates on the W12, indeed developments will be brought shortly to try to recover the gap that currently divides the Star team from Red Bull which dominates the scene in both world championship rankings. This was admitted by James Allison, Mercedes Chief Technical Officer from July 1st, underlining how the words recently spoken by team principal Toto Wolff have been misinterpreted.

"We have a reasonable number of things that will make our car faster in the next races – said Allison, interviewed by the F1 Nation podcast – Let's hope they prove sufficient. What if my words conflict with Wolff's? I don't think these two things are at odds with each other. I don't think Toto said that (stop updates on the W12, ed.)”.

Allison then added: “What Toto points out is that next year's rules are a big deal and require a huge amount of our factory's attention, but that doesn't mean there aren't still things to do before that focus".
