F1 | Mercedes, Hamilton badly in Singapore: "I'm not angry, I tried"

Lewis Hamilton tried, ninth in Singapore after a race in which he made a couple of mistakes too many, one above all when he crashed while trying to keep up with Sainz. The seven-time Mercedes world champion, however, categorically refuses to feel angry with himself, because he is aware of having tried despite the vehicle available evidently not up to certain situations.

“I am absolutely not angry about my mistakes – admitted Hamilton in the mixed zone. Obviously I'm not satisfied, but I don't think you can be too hard on yourself when you try to do something and fail, because you can get up and try again. I've done the best I can with what we have available, and honestly I don't have too much resentment at the moment. The grip was very low today, and it's very complicated to overtake, plus our car wasn't working, we couldn't push it, but I refuse to feel disappointed, that's how it went and I want to enjoy these last races trying to get a good result, like I have tried to do today."
