F1 | Mercedes, Hamilton: “We need more speed to win races”

The Zandvoort race, and the consequent victory, allowed Max Verstappen to return to being the leader of the World Championship with a three-point advantage over Lewis Hamilton. The Mercedes Englishman, recognizing the speed superiority of Red Bull, hopes that Mercedes can introduce a new update that will allow it to be able to fight on equal terms with Milton Keynes for the world championship scepter in both rankings.

"Red Bull had an update in Belgium, we haven't had one since Silverstone – declared Hamilton – They're a little bit ahead of us in terms of performance. They were simply faster. We have to do something to keep up with them. We need more speed to be able to win races in the future".
