F1 | Mercedes, George Russel confirmed in the "Junior Academy"
The Englishman will join Esteban Ocon in the youth program
With a press release issued on its official website, Mercedes confirmed that George Russel, ART talent, will join the Stuttgart team's youth program. Born in '98, Russel has achieved numerous successes in the world of karting, winning the BRDC Formula 4 title at the first attempt.

In the same year he won the McLaren Autosport BRDC Awards. After having achieved numerous successes in the world of Formula 4, Russel made the leap to Formula 3, racing with Hitech GP and taking third place in the drivers' standings. The Englishman will join Esteban Ocon in the youth program managed by Toto Wolff.
