F1 | Mercedes, Bottas on the Baku track: "It's a mix between Monza and Monaco"

Formula One has landed in Baku, home of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, where the eighth round of the 2017 World Championship will take place over the weekend. Among the protagonists present in the press conference today was Valtteri Bottas.

The Finn analyzed the route that winds through the streets of the Azerbaijani capital, expressing all his uncertainty about the outcome of the race: “It's difficult to predict the result on a circuit like this".

For the current Mercedes driver, the Baku track is a mix between two prestigious and historic tracks: “Some sections are like Monza, others like Monaco".

Among the drivers whose contract expires at the end of the season is also Bottas, with whom Mercedes signed an annual contract last January. A situation that the Finn experiences with complete calm: “There's no rush, we'll talk about it as soon as possible. My goal is to stay at Mercedes for a long time".
