F1 | Mercedes, Bottas: “We are closing the gap with Ferrari”
"Our car is really sensitive," he commented
In an interview with Sky Sports, Valtteri Bottas commented on the Mercedes one-two on the Montreal track, underlining how the team is improving the car in the areas where it struggled in the first part of the season. Ferrari is proving to be a very difficult opponent for the reigning world champion Scuderia, but according to Bottas, the small gap between the two teams is slowly closing.
Here are the words of Valtteri Bottas: “Our car is really sensitive. Finding the right balance is complicated, but if we manage to get it right we're really fast. The difficulty lies in finding the right set-up. Ferrari is really strong and in some events they were faster than us, but our team is improving and little by little we are managing to close the gap. Montreal has shown that we are much stronger in some areas than at the beginning of the season, so it will be up to us to fight as hard as we can between now and November. I want to win races and fight for the championship. Baku could be a good start."
