F1 | Mercedes, Bottas on the second row: "I lost a tenth in turn 10"

Valtteri Bottas took the second row in the Spanish Grand Prix. The Mercedes driver was unable to keep up with Hamilton and Verstappen in qualifying this time after last week's pole. The Finn is still third behind the two title contenders, but alongside him there will be an aggressive Leclerc, very good at securing a privileged position on the starting grid.

“It was close – said Bottas! I was sure I was in the fight for pole, but I lost a tenth in turn 10, and this year a similar mistake comes at a high price. We have a strong package and tomorrow we will be in the fight without a doubt, it will be another close encounter with Red Bull. If you can keep your tires in good condition you will be more competitive in the pit stop game. There is the possibility of mixing up the strategies a bit and trying one or two stops. We'll work hard tonight, you won't know my race tactics until tomorrow afternoon."
