F1 | McLaren, Seidl cautious about Monte Carlo: “It's difficult to make predictions”

Among the reasons of interest that will accompany the Monte Carlo event is also the battle for third place in the constructors' championship between McLaren and Ferrari. Discussing the upcoming weekend in the Principality, Woking TP Andrea Seidl prefers not to make predictions as the Monaco round represents a unicum in the world championship calendar where anything can happen.

"To be honest, Monaco is always difficult to predict – declared Seidl, quoted by GPFans – I've gone there in my racing career with cars that have been good and suddenly we ended up in P16 and P18 in qualifying and we didn't know why. In the past we have also seen the opposite. At the same time the cars are simply strong and they are there too. So I would say it's difficult to make predictions and, once again, the battle we're in is so close with Ferrari but also with other teams, especially when it comes to qualifying lap performance.".
