F1 | McLaren, Norris regrets: "I started well, but there was no space and I got a puncture"

There is disappointment at McLaren over the outcome of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix. Lando Norris was the only one of the two drivers of the Woking team to score points, with tenth place achieved in Brazil, and a further 17 points lost to Ferrari for third place in the constructors' championship. The Briton made a great start, but the contact with Sainz after a few meters effectively ruined his race straight away.

“A disappointing day for everyone, both for the team and for myself – Norris admitted. I got off to a good start, but while I was looking for a gap there wasn't enough space and I got a puncture. We could have scored a lot of points, we will examine what happened and try to work better next time. The comeback was good, managing to finish in the top ten, better than nothing. I think we couldn't have done more after what happened. The last few weeks have been difficult, let's hope to have a better one in Qatar."
