F1 | McLaren, Norris out of Q3: "I can't drive as I would like"

“It didn't go as well as I hoped. The colder temperatures made us work harder than expected and we were unable to exploit the car's potential. Complicated qualification also for the home driver Oscar piastri: the Australian fails to make the cut for Q2 by just under a tenth. He will start, in his first home Grand Prix, from the sixteenth spot on the grid.

“Obviously it didn't go the way I would have liked here in Melbourne. We are all very close and it is difficult to get in front. I was happy with my lap, but unfortunately it wasn't fast enough to put us in front. That's how it went, but tonight we will continue to work to recover positions tomorrow.
