F1 | McLaren shareholder Mansour Ojjeh dies

Sad news for the world of Formula 1. Mansour Ojjeh, historic shareholder of McLaren, passed away this morning at the age of 68. The Woking team announced it through their social channels. A great motoring enthusiast, he became the main sponsor of Williams with his company TAG in 1979, and thanks to his interventions the Grove team managed to become world champion twice with Jones in 1980 and Rosberg two years later. After the Finnish driver's victory, Ojjeh began a collaboration with McLaren, becoming its main shareholder in 1984. The Motorionline editorial team sends its deepest condolences to Mansour Ojjeh's family and friends.
