F1 | McLaren, Lando Norris: “We're not there yet, but we can be calm”

An anonymous day for Lando Norris: the Englishman ranked thirteenth in the morning, but fourteenth in the afternoon, still behind his teammate Carlos Sainz, who still has overheating problems in his car. Despite this, Lando remains positive and confident about the performance of the MCL35.

"A difficult day, at least in terms of understanding the car on this circuit, it wasn't that bad to be honest. We tried some solutions that gave us problems at Silverstone, but we also tried some new ones, given that we are on a new circuit. I think we can be calm, we are going in a good direction, even if we are not there yet. Personally I would like more grip. The car isn't bad, I think we can improve tomorrow and be more competitive. We didn't have any problems today, we did our simulations, including the car, that's the important thing".
