F1 | McLaren, Brown: “We are evaluating a commitment to IndyCar”

In a recent interview given inside the Indinapolis paddock, Zack Brown did not deny a possible commitment from McLaren within IndyCar. The English Scuderia is currently preparing with Fernando Alonso for the next Indinapolis 500 Miglia, but, according to what was declared by the CEO of the Woking Scuderia, the commitment in America may not end with next Sunday's race. The terrible performances in Formula One are pushing McLaren to evaluate alternatives for the future and this partnership with the Andretti team could open up some very interesting options for the future.

Here are the words of the CEO: “IndyCar is something we are certainly evaluating and I don't feel like denying our possible commitment. We are certainly interested in competing in this championship and are thinking of a way to enter it on a permanent basis in the not too distant future. At the moment we are thinking exclusively about the Indy 500, but racing here is an option that interests us."
