F1 | McLaren, Alonso isn't going back: "My time here is over"

Interviewed by Sky Sport yesterday, Fernando Alonso spoke about the choice to say goodbye to the Circus at the end of this season, underlining how, despite the many requests from fans, he will not go back on his steps. The Spaniard, in fact, is ready to embark on some new challenges, specifying that his time in Formula 1 is absolutely over.

Here are the words of Fernando Alonso: “My time in Formula 1 is over. I want to be the best driver in the world. Here I have already achieved more than I could have dreamed of, also fighting with Schumacher. There are other categories that offer me more challenges now, other experiences in racing and the Circus is one part compared to everything else. Now I think it's goodbye, but life changes very quickly. He taught me in the past that it can change in a couple of years or months.”
